Day 7
Today is Wednesday
For the first time of our trip, we went to school. We had two hours of English lessons with two young teachers who were very pleased to have us. We learnt some Irish words as 'Pog mo thoin' which means 'Kiss my ass'. The rest of the class was with two other teachers but they studied the same topics as us, such as sports. We listened to some celtic myths like CuChulain's. Magic is always present in celtic myths, animals too.
Then we ate in the Midlands of Ireland near bogs. Bogs are places where the earth is made of 98% of water and 2% of dead plants. We jumped on it to see that it moves because of our weight. As there is no oxygen in the bogs, archeologists found old tools or bones in it, partly exposed in the museum near the bogs. We also discovered the organisation of an Irish farm during the 19th century: it was quite cold.
Amélie, Juliens...
Day 8
Today is Thursday!
In the morning lessons : Because of thursday's lessons, we became jealous of Irish students... yeah, they can take a year break in 4th year of secondary school!we have also learnt that they finish school at 3.30pm which is about 2 hours earlier than us! but... they wear uniforms (UGLY uniforms)
After working very very hard during 2 hours, we ate in Greystones' park. Some played rugby and others went to the sweet shop and spent a long time there surounded by candies. Some of us interviewed pedestrians to ask questions about culture and traditions in Ireland.
The most excited thing of this day was of course the SURPRISE! Mrs Robin played a good joke on us: she said we would go to a harpsichord museum. (Lol) We finally went bowling !! we spent a very good moment, especially Xavier, who made a group of Irish girls fall in love with him !
Then later on ,An hour and half of shopping in temple bar in the center of Dublin was a good way to end this day... We had a nice time in dublin streets under the sunshine.

Day 4
"Today we were near Dublin where we went to see different villages. We went to a cemetery
and after we went to Trim to see the ruins of a castle. I liked it because we were outside and the day was sunny so it was pleasant.
Later, we drove back to Dublin to the National museum. I think it was boring because I didn't understand everything and I don't like museums!
After we visited the Guinness brewery : I found it interesting because now I know how beer is made! Xavier"
"Today we went near Dublin and to a cemetery with a five meter high cross. It was agreable.
After we ate our picnic in the park of a castle (where Braveheart was shot)
. We visited two museums in the afternoon, but I much prefer to walk!
